New PBS TVault Integration

Allegiance has partnered with PBS to create a sync between Allegiance Fundraising and the upcoming PBS Transaction Vault (TVault). TVault, an expansion of the PBS digital infrastructure designed to help stations collect donations on digital platforms, will store transaction data related to donations made via some PBS national properties. PBS mobile and Over-the-Top (OTT) apps on Apple, Android and Amazon devices, as well as web-based donation solutions, will all be integrated with TVault. This will be done such that data should flow seamlessly from the donation experiences back to station CRMs. The data collected will inform PBS business decisions related to creating new revenue opportunities, enriched content experiences and connections between stations and their members.

The new integration will automatically add the station’s TVault data to their Allegiance Fundraising database, giving them the ability to better cultivate and manage their donors. Over the past few months Allegiance has been working with PBS to develop integration points. The next phase will be working with a small subgroup of pilot stations to test the data flow on web and mobile devices. Soon after, there will be a station pilot opportunity for OTT platforms. PBS has not set a formal system-wide release date yet but is looking to start the next wave of web and mobile pilots in Q2 of 2019.
